유엔 한반도 평화번영재단 출범 선언문

우리는 비핵, 평화, 번영의 길을 통하여 통일로 나아가야 한다.

이는 평화통일로 가는 정도이며 어떤 지름길도 우회로도 없는 올바른 길임을 우리는 확신한다. 이에 유엔한반도평화번영 재단에 참여하고 있는 국민, 재외국민, 해외동포 그리고 평화를 애호하는 유엔 및 국제기구와 전문가들이 2019.11.5 서울 중구 한국프레스센터에서 출범식을 가지고 다음과 같이 선언한다.

1. 우리는 북한의 비핵화가 평화로 가는 길임을 확신한다. 한반도의 비핵화 없이 평화로 가는 길은 없다. 우리는 대화와 협력을 통한 한반도의 비핵화 노력에 찬성한다. 우리는 북한이 핵무기를 가지는 어떠한 합의도 반대한다.

2. 우리는 평화적 통일을 지향한다. 또다시 한반도에서 전쟁이나 불행한 사태가 일어나서는 안 된다. 하루속히 현재의 정전체제를 평화체제로 전환하고 한반도 평화체제에 대한 국제적인 협력을 추구해 나가야한다. 이 땅에 전쟁은 물론 상대에 대한 일체의 전복, 테러 행위를 배격한다.

3. 우리는 진정한 평화 속에 교류와 협력의 길이 열릴 수 있음을 확신 한다. 남북한 간에 사람과 물자, 정보와 자본의 자유로운 왕래가 보장되어야 원활한 협력이 진행될 수 있다. 평화체제가 구축되지 않은 상황에서 남북한 간의 교류와 협력사업들은 불안정할 수밖에 없다. 평화는 남북한간의 활발한 협력사업을 위한 필요충분조건이다. 

4. 우리는 남과 북 그리고 해외동포들과 함께 협력해야 공동번영 할 수 있음을 확신한다. 협력을 통해 공동번영을 이룩하여 경제공동체를 건설하는 것이 민족 공동체를 회복하고 발전시켜 통일로 나아가는 최선의 길이다. 우리는 민족 공동번영을 위한 실천적 방안으로서 ⌜민족발전공동계획⌟이 하루빨리 수립되어야 한다는 것을 명백히 한다.

5. 우리는 튼튼한 국민적 합의와 한반도 평화와 번영을 바라는 유엔과 국제기구인사와 전문가들의 참여와 협력을 바탕으로 평화통일을 앞당겨 나가는데 기여할 것임을 엄숙히 선언한다.

Statement on the launch of the 

 UN Korean Peninsula  Peace and Prosperity Foundation

The unification can be accomplished through denuclearization, peace and prosperity. We are convinced that this is the right way to peaceful reunification and that there are no shortcuts or detours. 

Therefore,  international organizations and experts who are participating in the United Nations Korean Peninsula Peace and Prosperity Foundation have announced the following at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on January 1, 2019.

1. We are convinced that denuclearization of North Korea is the way to peace. There is no way to peace without the denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula. We support the denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula through communication and cooperation. We disagree that North Korea to have nuclear weapons in any conditions.

2. We hope peaceful unification. There should be no war or unfortunate events on the Korean Peninsula. International cooperation on the peace system on the Korean Peninsula should be pursued as soon as possible. Not only the war, but also counter terrorism against the opponent must stop.

3. We are convinced that through the true peace, it will be possible to  achieve exchange and cooperation. Smooth cooperation can only proceed if no limitations in exchanges of people, goods, information and capital between the two Koreas are guaranteed. In the absence of a peace system, exchange and cooperation projects between the two Koreas are unstable. Peace is a necessary for cooperation between the two Koreas.

4. We are convinced that if we cooperate with South and North Koreans and overseas Koreans we can accomplish our goals. Building cooperative prosperity through cooperation and building an economic community is the best way to restore and develop the national community and lead to unification. We make it clear that the “People's Development Plan” should be established as soon as possible as a practical way to promote national prosperity.

5. We solemnly declare that we will contribute to the advancement of peaceful reunification based on strong national consensus and the participation and cooperation of United Nations and international organizations and experts who wish for peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula.
